BASF honored for Best in Business Awards in South Carolina

MAULDIN, SOUTH CAROLINA, December 13, 2022 – BASF has been honored with two Best in Business Awards from three South Carolina business magazines.


The Best in Business awards recognizes companies and individuals from around the state that bring success to South Carolina's business community. Winners were announced in the December issues of Greenville Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly and Charleston Business Magazine.


BASF was picked as the runner-up in both the Best Manufacturer or Exporter and the Best Advanced Manufacturer categories. In 2021, BASF earned an Advanced Manufacturer honor as well.


BASF has sites in Central (Clemson), Converse (Spartanburg), Mauldin, Seneca and White Stone. The South Carolina sites employ approximately 750 people and invest nearly $85 million in the state through annual payroll, purchases, investments, taxes and charitable contributions.
