The Insurance Source’s Furay to SCBIZ 500 List

GREER, SC – Guy Furay, one the state’s leading independent insurance brokers, has been named to a new list honoring South Carolina business leaders.

The South Carolina 500 is SC Biz News’ first-ever list of the Palmetto State’s most powerful and impactful leaders in business, nonprofits, government and higher education. The South Carolina 500 is based on staff research, not nominations.

A St. Louis native, Furay earned a prestigious Evans Scholarship that allowed him to get his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri. He later earned a master’s degree from Webster University.

Furay founded The Insurance Source in 2005. He has conducted numerous media interviews and public speaking engagements as an expert on the Affordable Care Act. He also serves on the board of Health Agents for America (HAFA) and lobbies in Washington, D.C, for improvements in the healthcare and health insurance industry. He is also active in multiple local commerce, business leadership and networking organizations.
