Lydia Mulfinger named Sylvan Learning Center Teacher of the Month

GREENVILLE, S.C.—Lydia Mulfinger was named Teacher of the Month for Sylvan Learning Center in the Upstate.


Mulfinger earned an associate’s degree in Math and Science from Greenville Technical College in 2020 and has earned a certificate to teach English as a second language. In addition to her prior education, she is also currently pursuing higher education to further her career in aiding in the improvement of childrens’ lives.


Before joining Sylvan Learning Center, Mulfinger worked with The Children’s Museum of the Upstate as an event host, and worked with STARTALK Chinese, and helped teachers teach students Chinese.


“Being named Sylvan Learning Center of the Upstate’s Teacher of the Month is a great personal achievement,” said Mulfinger. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to have the work recognized that I’ve been doing to help children learn.”
