Hollingsworth Funds adds Senior Community Investments Officer
GREENVILLE, SC — Hollingsworth Funds has named Nalisha Henry as Senior Community Investments Officer, bringing an experienced nonprofit executive and community investment leader to its team.
Henry brings extensive experience in community investment strategy, nonprofit leadership, and cross-sector collaboration. Most recently, she served in executive leadership roles at United Way of Greenville County, where she directed strategy and operations for a multimillion-dollar portfolio of community investments and initiatives focused on advancing economic mobility and expanding opportunity for Greenville County residents.
At Hollingsworth Funds, Henry will help advance the organization's work to address systemic barriers to opportunity and strengthen the conditions that allow more Greenville County residents to thrive. Her experience working with community organizations, institutional partners, and local leaders will support the Funds' approach to combining financial investments, relationships, learning, and community leadership to advance lasting change.
Henry will begin her new role November 2, 2026.
“Nalisha brings a deep understanding of our community, strong relationships, and a thoughtful approach to addressing complex challenges,” said Tamela Young-Spann, Vice President of Community Investments at Hollingsworth Funds. “Her experience working across organizations and sectors will be especially valuable as we deepen our efforts to remove barriers to opportunity for Greenville residents. I'm excited to welcome her to our team and look forward to the perspective and leadership she'll bring to this work.”
Henry began her career at Girl Scouts of South Carolina – Mountains to Midlands, where she held roles in volunteer engagement, community development, and fundraising. She holds a bachelor's degree from Furman University and a Master of Public Administration from Clemson University.
