GREENVILLE SC -- The Greenville Housing Fund has promoted Libba King to Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Capital Solutions.

In this new role, King will continue to oversee the agency’s real estate portfolio, as well as coordinate development partnerships and initiatives across the county, including those financed through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), while also taking on expanded responsibilities for the implementation of GHF’s updated strategic plan and real estate strategy.

"Libba has been an exceptional leader and a critical part of Greenville Housing Fund’s work to expand and preserve affordable housing across our community,” said Deborah McKetty, President and CEO of Greenville Housing Fund. “Her promotion reflects both the significant contributions she has already made and the expanded leadership role she will play as we implement our strategic plan. Libba brings a strong combination of real estate expertise, financial acumen, and commitment to our mission, and I am excited to have her leading our broader community engagement and real estate development work as we pursue new partnerships and opportunities throughout Greenville.”

In the local Greenville community, King serves on the Board of Jasmine Road, as well as non-profit housing developer, Genesis Homes. She is also an Investment Advisory Committee member at Abundance Capital, a Donor-Advised Fund Platform. She was a founding board member of the South Carolina Women's Affordable Housing Network.

She was named one of Greenville’s Bests and Brightest Under Age 35 in 2025, and in March 2026, was a SC WAHNderful Woman Award Honoree for the “Rising Star” Award from the South Carolina Women's Affordable Housing Network.

Prior to joining Greenville Housing Fund in 2023, King was an Associate with Pacolet Milliken. Before moving to Greenville, King was an Associate Manager in Acquisitions at Hudson Valley Property Group, a New York City-based Section 8 acquisition / redevelopment private equity platform, where she completed portfolio acquisitions in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Her career started at Goldman Sachs, where she was an Acquisitions Associate and Analyst in the Urban Investment Group, the bank’s investment platform that integrated housing, small business lending and community development to foster comprehensive, long-term impact across neighborhoods and meet the bank’s CRA requirements. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue contributing to the Greenville Housing Fund’s mission alongside such a dedicated and talented team. Working together, we have accomplished so much in expanding access to high-quality affordable housing throughout our community, and I am equally excited about the opportunities ahead. We have deeply vested partners who share our commitment to Greenville, and I look forward to continuing this important work alongside them as we build on our momentum and create even greater impact for our community in the quarters and years to come,” King said.
