High Spirits Hospitality is the parent company to four independent brand companies – Liquid Catering, Bravo1 Protection, Events at Judson Mill, and High Spirits Events – as well as the lead operation for Topside Pool Club in downtown Greenville. Today, we’re talking to Tripp Lunsford, Director of Operations for Bravo1 Protection, which provides hospitality-driven, exceptional armed and unarmed security services for bars, venues, festivals, and businesses.
How did you get into this business?
“Public service careers don’t just happen. First, you have to care and have a passion to make a positive change. Secondly, you have to routinely remind yourself of the first one.”
What are you most proud of?
My family. I’m better at being a Dad than anything else.
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned from your time in this industry?
Most People are inherently good. Also, no one likes to be told what to do.
What is the best advice you’ve received?
While conducting an IED sweep, “You don’t have to know what everything is, but you better know what it’s not.”
