John Boyanoski, the owner of Complete PR, was recently named to the Greenville County Historical Society Board.
The Greenville County Historical Society exists to preserve, protect and share the history of Greenville County for future generations. It does this by collecting, preserving and providing access to historical records that document the people, places and events of Greenville.
"It's cliche to say I am deeply honored by this, but I am deeply honored," Boyanoski said. "As a lover of Greenville and its history, I am excited to be part of this amazing organization."
Boyanoski spent more than a decade covering South Carolina as a journalist. At Complete PR, he has developed unique media campaigns designed to create and generate positive public exposure since 2012.
When not running Complete PR, John believes in service to the community. He serves on the Greenville County Board of Zoning Appeals, and the YMCA Caine Halter Advisory Board. He also is the past chair of the Greenville Zoo Foundation Board, Rebuild Upstate, and the Greenville Chamber’s PULSE Advisory Council. He also spent six years on the board of The Children’s Museum of the Upstate including two years on the executive committee as well as a term on The City of Greenville Community Development Board and three terms on the Greenville Chamber Board of Advisors.
He was named one of Greenville's Best and Brightest in 2012, is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 40, and is a graduate of the Greenville Health System Medical Scholar program. He was named the Greenville Chamber's 2014 Young Professional of the Year. He is the author of four books including Reimagining Greenville.
